Frequently Asked Questions

If I cannot attend my course, can I reschedule it?
Yes, we can definitely re-schedule your class, as long as you e-mail or call us (preferably 24 hours) before the class begins.

If I cannot attend my course, can I get a refund?
Refunds are available for lecture courses if requested prior to the start of the course. Due to the limited number of spaces available for any School of Imaging field trip or photo-walk, we regret that refunds cannot be issued for cancellations occurring less than 24 hours before the meet-up time for the event. We appreciate your understanding. You must prepay for this class and receipts will be gathered at the class.

When I registered online it says my order is being shipped, why?
Since you may buy hard goods on our website, our email confirmation may mention that your item will be shipped. In the case of a class purchase, nothing will be shipped to you. You will receive a “Payment Confirmation” email with the class purchased, date, time, and location. If the class was a “field trip” or off-site workshop, please bring a copy of this email with you to the event.

Why do I need to take the Camera Specific class before the Exposures classes?
It is important to have a working knowledge of most of the features of your DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera and how to change the advanced settings so you will understand what the instructor is describing in the class.

Can I repeat a class and how much will that cost?
Yes, you can retake any of the ‘lecture’ format classes we offer at no additional cost. Just inform us by e-mail of the date of your original registration and the new date you would like to attend of the same class. Software and workshop classes are not available to repeat at “no cost”.

How do I schedule a private “one on one” lesson with your instructors?
Our instructors keep their own calendars and you can schedule a date and time by calling 314-993-2681 or by e-mailing instructor@cccamera.com. Private lessons can be in our store or on location.

How many people can attend a private lesson?
Up to three people can attend and split the cost.

Can my child participate in a School of Imaging course?
Our courses are designed for people aged 16 and over. If your child is between the ages of 12-15, we may request that a guardian attend the course with them as a paid registrant. No children under the age of 12 will be allowed under any circumstances.

If you cannot find the answer to your question, please email our instructors at instructors@cccamera.com.
