At Creve Coeur Camera, we teach a variety of classes. One that seems to be pretty popular is our Sports Photography classes. It could be a parent who’s wanting to capture their kid playing their favorite sports. Maybe it’s a photographer who’s seeking a career in sports photography. Either way, we are here to help educate you. You can find some of our upcoming sports classes online.
One of our own, Kenzie Fairchild, Assistant Manager at our Columbia Location, photographs future sports stars. She does this for their resumes they need when applying to college. College scouts utilize these portfolios to aid them in the decision making process. We lifted a few paragraphs from a recent blog that Kenzie did for her brother (a future college baseball athlete).
“I had the opportunity to photograph one of Blair Oaks’ Varsity Baseball catchers! He did a great job stopping balls, making plays, and doing other things that catchers do. The best part of the shoot, he’s my little brother!
For many upperclassmen baseball players, they add photos to their profiles (like Hudl.com) to show potential scouts who they are! As a sophomore on the varsity baseball team, having some great photos that capture his abilities are super important. The weight on an underclassman varsity starter’s shoulders is tremendous. This player did a great job at the game today, and his big sis wishes him all the best!”
Check out her photos below! Be sure to stop in and share your sports photos with us at any location! We love seeing what you’ve been shooting!
