Many times, photos taken indoors do not come out as expected. This is often due to large bright light sources behind the subjects and the camera being set on "Automatic". In the Automatic mode, the camera decides when to fire the flash, and with a bright source behind the subject, it will not. This also is the case if taking photos outside with the brightest part of the photo behind the subject. The easiest way to overcome this problem is to simply change the flash commands to the 'flash on demand' mode which makes the camera fire the flash every time the shutter is pushed. The camera regulates the amount of light hitting the subject and balances it with the light hitting the background. The result: a perfectly exposed photo of subject and background.. |
