Canon 60D/7D

Cost: $69  Length: 2 hours

This class will discuss the versatility and power of your new DSLR. The Live-View function, and Face-Detection modes can be useful and this class will explain when these are most successful. We will also cover other standard features, when to use them and will go through the menus to give you a clear understanding of them. Bring your camera, and a fully charged battery along with your questions.

Canon Rebel T1i/T2i/T3i/T3

Cost: $69 Length: 2 hours

Our two hour course on the new Canon Rebel T1i/T2i/T3i/T3 will include many different subjects including flash modes, Live-View, Video, exposure modes and button functions. The Canon Rebel T1i/T2i/T3i/T3 offers many ways to capture proper exposure through photography and video. We will review what settings will get you the most out of your new DSLR. While discussing button functions we will also show you how to use them to your advantage regardless of what you are photographing. This two-hour class we discuss many of the various features included on your camera. Topics such as Auto Mode, the Scene Modes, White Balance, Continuous Shooting, lenses, using flash as well as others will be covered in this class. Most of the external buttons on the camera will be explained and discussed. The Canon Rebel 101 class is a great start to getting familiar with your camera. Bring your camera to the class along with any lenses you own.

Canon Rebel 201 T1i/T2i/T3i/T3

This class picks up right where Canon Rebel 101 leaves off. We will discuss the P, TV, AV and M modes on the camera and how they can be a great advantage. Other topics include bracketing, metering modes, the histogram, the asterisk button, and many of the menu options and what they do. Take the next step into your camera to maximize all photo opportunities in the future.

Olympus E-PL3/E-PM1/EP3

Come join us in a two-hour seminar discussing the many features of the Olympus PEN camera. The goal of our class is to get you much more familiar with your new camera. Topics will include White Balance, Continuous Shooting, the various shooting modes and overall care of the camera amongst many other topics. Pentax K5/K7

The weather sealed Pentax K7 and K5 are wonderful photographic tools. Understanding how to take advantage of their many features is the first step to getting better photographs. Our Pentax K5/K7 class is designed to make you more familiar with your DSLR. We'll discuss most of the cameras’ external buttons as well as some of the menu options. Knowing what the various buttons do can be very helpful; knowing why you would use them is even more important. Join us in this 2 hour seminar to improve in all areas of photography!

Pentax Kx and Kr

These user-friendly DSLR cameras for the beginning digital photographer capture high quality images with either simplified operation or use of manual options. This class will show you the best options in different situations, even low-light conditions. Bring your camera, batteries, manual and questions.

Nikon D3100/D5100

Our class on the Nikon D3100 and D5100 is designed to help you become familiar with your new DSLR. We will discuss the functions of your camera as well as most of the menu options. We want you to know what the buttons mean and why you would use them in a particular situation. General photographic tips will be included throughout the class; Regardless of what camera you use, your photos will improve. Nikon J1 / V1

Cost: $69 Length: 2 hours

Do you own a Nikon J1 or V1 and want to know more about your camera and how to use it? Join us in our Nikon J1/V1 camera class to better understand your camera. We will discuss many features of your camera including the shooting modes, the different focusing options, color options, and many more. Throughout the class we will give many shooting tips for capturing better photographs in all situations. We will also discuss the importance of storing your photos, downloading them and the various cables that come with your camera.

Sony A290/A390

Cost: $69  Length: 2 hours

The new Sony A290 and A390 bring quality and ease of use together into one DSLR. We would like to teach you how to use these cameras to get the best photos you have taken in years! In this class we will discuss how and what settings to change depending on the photographic situation. The menu options will be explored and explained to you in a way that you can understand. We will inform you of the different flash modes, scenic modes, and how you can change your autofocus to ensure your pictures come out nice and sharp. We want you to become familiar with the camera so that you are focused on what to take pictures of instead of how to take them.

Sony ANEX-5N/C3

Cost: $69  Length: 2 hours

This class brings together the features of this camera that will help you bring your photographs to a whole new level. We will discuss focusing options, how to use your white balance, the various shooting modes as well as general tips and tricks of how to use your camera to its fullest potential. The two hour class is designed for those of you that are new to these cameras and are interested in learning how to make the camera work for your specific needs. Bring your camera and a fully charged battery to the class.

Sony A33/A35/A55

Cost: $69  Length: 2 hours

Our class on the Sony A33, A35 and A55 is based around you becoming familiar with your new DSLR. We will go over most of the camera’s functions including all of the external buttons and most of the menus. We want to show you what the buttons do and tell you why you would use them. Being familiar with what your camera is capable of and how to take advantage of those features, will allow you to get better photos in any situation.
